Golden Compass/Custom Userpics

To make this deal with reading, i whould like to tell you about a great book. It is a very good book called "The Golden Compass". There are three parts to this book, "the Golden Compass", "The Subtle Knife", and last but not least, "The Amber Spyglass". The story is about a little girl on a huge quest. She must protect her friends, loved ones, and answer some unanswered questions. She does not know her parents. She is an orphan girl in a strange universe. Everyone has little pet like creatures that can not go too far away or they feel pain, kond of like a soul. It is a very good series, go check it out!


Now the custom userpic part. First put your cursor on manage. Next, move your cursor to userpics and click that. Then you must scroll down to where it says upload a new picture. Hit browse and it will bring up files go to your pictures and thats where any saved files will be. Pick one and it will pop up on the line next to browse. Finnaly make a keyword (you have to do this) and save changes. The picture will pop up next below your first picture that you started with. Hit save settings and now you have a custom userpic!

If you do not have any pictures that you want or they wont work its because they have to be 100*100 pixels. You can find out by bringing up your picture in "Paint" and looking at the bottom right hand corner. If you do not have a picture period, you can get one off the internet just type in google or any search engine, 100*100 pixel pictures. Then right click and go to save as. Now do the process above! Thats all i have to say except that if your picture is over 100*100 pixels that you want to use i do not know how to fix it in "Paint" without ruining the picture, sorry!
